Appearance

The bread comes in an unmarked white paper bag, slightly waxed.

This is not a bad-looking loaf, it has a nice color, the scores on top are kind of flat, which is a minus esthetically speaking. Also, the loaf looks like it is a bit bent in the middle.

The density feels above average, the crust is quite hard, even the bottom, which is a bit unusual. Baguettes are supposed to be this hard, so I'm always surprised when they actually are.

The outside smell is barely detectable.

The cut presented no special difficulties.

The crumb is white with a slight yeloowish tint, which I found pleasant. Average fluffiness for a baguette. The inside smell is a bit sweet and good.

Taste

The crust turns out to be too soft after all, but otherwise it tastes pretty good.

The crumb is fresh, light and quite good.

Conclusion

Demerits for the appearance, which is a bit industrial, but the taste makes up for it. Very decent baguette.
