Appearance

The bread comes in a paper bag with a transparent plastic window.

The color is good, very shallow scores on top, crust looks a bit shiny. Lots of olive chunks visible.

The density of the loaf is average, the crust is quite soft.

The outside smell is quite strong, dominated by what must be the olives, although this is definitely not the usual olive smell, but something rather darker.

The cut was easy, it was not too difficult to make nice-looking slices.

The crumb is a bit dark, with lots of olive chunks visible. The inside smell is strongly dominated by the olives.

Taste

The crust is quite soft, the taste is dominated by the olives (no surprise here, based on the smell).

The crumb is light and pleasant, once again with a strong olive taste.

Conclusion

This would be a very good olive bread if the olives were better -- I didn't care very much for them, even though I am a great amateur of olive breads. I thought they were too salty. Also, the crust could use some more texture.
