Our Daily Bread An excellent site dedicated to bread baking. A lot of good recipes, fun facts about bread, etc... Of interest to all bread lovers.
How bread works An excellent overview of how bread works physically and chemically, accessible to just about anyone. Even a few fun experiments to do at home.
Internet bread recipe archive A treasure trove of bread recipes from around the world, for bread machines and traditional baking. Several hundred recipes !
Boulangerie.net The French take their bread seriously. Unfortunately, this site is available only in French. Contains great details about every conceivable aspect of bread-making. These guys are not kidding.
Bread Bakers Guild of America A reasonably interesting site for professionals and amateurs. A lot of links to professional trade associations and various boards. Also a lot of recipes, and background information about bread.
Bread Review A small collection (36) of restaurant bread reviews, mostly from the San Francisco area. Unfortunately, the author does not like sourdough, which seriously restricts her range in this region...
Home Baking Association For the amateur baker. A lot of resources, recipes, tips and other information.
Baking 911 A fun site with a lot of information and practical advice on baking. Maintained by a very-well informed lady who knows her stuff. Also a very active bulletin board.
The Faltering Quality Of Bread A scary look at all the crap that goes into bread. Don't read this if you have a weak stomach.
Sourdough Home These guys are seriously into sourdough! Recipes, tips, even hands-on classes (in Colorado).

Name Description
The Fud Court A few guys who review restaurants (mostly in San Francisco) with a very direct, no-nonsense approach. Very entertaining reviews, and some good food-related material too.
